Leila was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  After graduating from High School, Leila lived in Chile, Zimbabwe, Israel, New Mexico, and California.  She also had the privilege of visiting nine other countries in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the South Pacific and she identifies herself as a World Citizen.

Leila and her husband have made Visalia their home since 2005 and they think it is a wonderful place to raise their daughters Keilani and Anne’ki.  Leila is especially thankful for the community of like-minded parents and passionate educators she has found at Sycamore Valley Academy.

Leila holds a Bachelor of Art in Early Childhood Education from Fresno Pacific University and is currently working on her teaching credential and Master’s in Education at Brandman University.  Leila feels honored to spend her days teaching her native language and encouraging her students to take risks and persevere as they practice their Spanish.
