Mrs. Cazares discovered her passion for education while working as an after-school program leader, where she found great joy in supporting students with their learning and helping them build confidence. That experience inspired her to pursue a bachelor's degree in English Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language, grounded in her belief that every student deserves to feel seen, capable, and empowered.

Following graduation, Mrs. Cazares spent four years as a paraprofessional at Goshen Elementary, supporting students both academically and socially. She later served as a substitute teacher throughout Visalia Unified School District while completing her teaching credential, gaining valuable experience across a variety of classrooms and grade levels. She also earned a master's degree in Social Emotional Learning, strengthening her commitment to educating the whole child and fostering students' emotional well-being alongside their academic growth.

Mrs. Cazares was drawn to Sycamore Valley Academy because of its commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning community where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, discover their strengths, and grow with confidence. She values the collaborative culture at SVA and enjoys working alongside colleagues who share her dedication to student success.

As both an educator and a parent, Mrs. Cazares has experienced firsthand the positive impact of the SVA community. She loves seeing her daughter thrive as a student and is grateful to be part of a school that feels like an extension of her family. For Mrs. Cazares, teaching is more than a profession—it's an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, inspire a love of learning, and help every student recognize their own potential.
