“Whatever you want to do, if you want to be great at it, you have to love it and be able to make sacrifices for it.” – Maya Angelou
Ms. Flynn was born in South Korea, and came to the United States when she was 5 years old. She moved frequently throughout her childhood, whenever her father was stationed to a new military base. She moved to Visalia her freshman year of high school from New Jersey and graduated from Redwood High School. She graduated from Fresno Pacific University, earning a BA in Liberal Arts. She is currently in the Fresno Pacific Teacher Education program.
Children surround her most of her days, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She truly enjoys every moment with them. Ms. Flynn comes to SVA from teaching in a 5th grade classroom and overseeing a high school after-school program. She has experience with working with children from kindergarten to high school in mainstream and special education classrooms and as an instructional aide. She always had her heart set on teaching elementary school students and joined Sycamore Valley Academy in 2017 as a 1st & 2nd grade Core Academic Teacher.
Chrisitna is thrilled to be part of the SVA family and looks forward to working and collaborating with the amazing educators and parents of the school community. She wholeheartedly believes in SVA’s mission and vison and is excited about her work.
