Dave Whitmore brings nearly three decades of experience in education as a teacher, school administrator, and instructional leader. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and his master’s degree from Western Oregon University, building a strong foundation in educational leadership and instructional practice.
In addition to his work in K–12 education, Dave served for 15 years as an adjunct professor with Brandman University and Chapman University, helping prepare and mentor future educators. Throughout his career, he has focused on building positive school cultures, strengthening instruction, and creating systems that support the success of both students and staff.
Dave is proud to be part of The Academies Charter Management Organization, where he values the shared commitment to student growth, high expectations, and strong partnerships with families and the community.
Outside of work, Dave enjoys spending time with his three children, hiking, playing board games, and attending musical theater productions—especially when his children are performing. He believes the strongest school communities are built on consistency, meaningful relationships, and a shared belief that every student can succeed.
